Meditating on Jabber

Breathe in and it doesn’t matter

That my mind wanders to words

Said in furious, vicious jabber

I cannot apologize what was told

So long ago. Breathe out and out.

I want to shout pain of my heart.

Breathe in again. I am narcissism.

    Are you? You sound too self-aware for that. But likely you are not being autobiographical so much as painting a portrait. Perhaps it’s true that narcissism begins in pain.

      Indeed, and I have some tendencies that come out in strange situations. Like when I have a seizure or giving birth. I am trying to get to the bottom of my fears.

        Having a seizure or giving birth is pretty extreme! I think you’re excused any reaction! (I swore my head off the first time I gave birth.)

    And I have experienced a lot of pain both physical and emotional. I do believe narcissism starts there with an availability to the waves of evil that we have to find the will to stand against.

      I apologise if I’ve appeared to slight your experience. If you are indeed a narcissist, you are a very rare one, to be able to self-examine like that.
      Whether the label applies or not, it’s clear that you have experienced much pain, have been overcome by ‘waves of evil’ you are now seeking to resist, and have the courage for deep introspection with the will to change.
      I wish you every success in this quest – and, if possible, that you may find excellent professional help to make it easier.
