Yep! I lived in a cube house that my dad designed. Even my bed was strange. I grew up in a space ship according to my classmates. I wasn’t allowed more than one friend at a time over and most were not inclined to come over. They didn’t trust me because of my inherited weirdness. Ah well. We each had our things, and we did grow out of those childhood horrors, mostly.

I was afraid of my father. So were my friends. Usually, I went to their houses. But my mother had to literally push me out of the house. I would happily have hidden in my bedroom until I turned 18 and could leave.
