LANDAYS FOR AUGUST
Being half-blind does not help a Cloud
Surveyor, as the moisture turns loud.
Wipers squeaking as they must and all.
I’ve an eye for the ice diamonds ball.
My puffy coat of steam keeps me warm
While I slog for the Cloud Queen’s ol’ Carn.
Trouble is growing in our
Sky,
The folks have gone a spreading of lies.
Now, you know as well as I do
Ice diamonds are natural, but phoo
A factory is blowing steam
Through some chemicals
Making ice gleam
But people go cold and get sick
Without it, and I gotta find, ick,
Hidden FrostTech before they take
Our homes. They want to turn out fakes
In the meantime, robbing gems of
Their value, me of a job, and love.
The Queen was sure the difference was
Clear, but she believes me now because
The Carnival is flooded with crud
And we are getting so heavy we’re mud!
A cloud world can’t stay, well, up in
The sky, if we’re closing closer than
We ever have been to fog! We
May as well be pollution
You see.
I see a light future for my
Beloved Queen with ice diamond skies.
